Iz and Elspeth
Good morning, Islanders!

Your hosts, Iz and Elspeth, have a very fun story for you today… !!!

Breakfast today was hash browns and scrambled eggs, which were so yummy!!!

After breakfast, we went to collect the juvenile scallops from the spat bags down by the pier. We had to clear out all other organisms like sea squirts (yes, we got squirted lol), nuetabrank, skeleton shrimp, and much more! After collecting our data, we had to clean the bags so that they were spick and spat!

Then, following the snack, we got our boots on and went back out to the ITZ. Today was pretty successful; we found many cool organisms and continued to work on our projects.

Lunch today was chili, and after we ate, we got to do a really fun lab about the effects of ocean acidification on calcium carbonate shells.

We then worked more on our art projects as we wound down for the day.

After our free time spent chilling (some of us napping), we had really good Greek bowls for dinner. When we were done eating, we all did our chores and came together to have a quick book club meeting.

Once we had finished our meeting, we played some fun games as a group, then headed to bed!

WE ARE Iz and Elspeth,

Thanks for watching Love Island tropical storm edition!
