Academic Support

At CSW, small classes allow teachers to know each student well. As a result, teachers are able to provide guidance and support both within and outside of class time. Students can also sign up for subject-specific tutorial classes in math, writing, science, and foreign languages.

CSW also provides an Evening Skills Program, which takes place Monday through Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. During Evening Skills, students can receive small group support on homework assignments, prioritizing and organizing their work, and developing better study habits.

The Skills Center also provides help during the school day for students who want to improve their general study habits or work on specific areas of need. Students can receive assistance in the Skills Center for one class period in up to three of our seven Modules.
