Theatre

The theatre program at CSW is designed to expand our students’ knowledge of the many forms of drama and build skills in all aspects of theatre production. We believe that theatre is a reflection of our world, and we choose plays that broaden social awareness, create joy and foster collaboration and ensemble work.

Students help manage all aspects of production—from set design and lighting, to costumes and sound, as well as stage managing, directing, writing, and acting. The theatre department produces two main stages events a year—usually a dramatic production and a musical—as well as many smaller productions throughout the year in the various venues inside our Mugar Center for the Performing Arts. All main stage productions are interpreted into American Sign Language.
