Summer Electives

Summer Electives are opportunities for curious, high school aged students to explore their interests in a variety of subject areas on campus at The Cambridge School of Weston each summer. CSW students and learners from other schools alike are encouraged to sign up for programs they are eager to explore over a few weeks in the summer.

Every year there are different opportunities available and wonderful partnerships that allow students to stretch their learning and experience something new. We can’t wait for you to join us!

Frequently Asked Questions

List of 4 frequently asked questions.

  • What grade levels are summer electives open to?

Most summer electives are open to all high school students (including incoming 9th graders). Please take a look at the course you are interested in to see when the best time for you to take that course may be!
  • Can I register for multiple electives each summer?

    • Yes! As long as electives you are interested in are in different sessions, you are welcome to sign up for multiple courses to make the most of the opportunities that are available in a given year.
  • Who are the instructors for summer electives?

Summer electives are taught by a variety of qualified instructors – often they are experts in the field of study of that particular elective and are skilled at delivering quality instruction alongside their lived experiences.
  • Are there additional summer electives that may be offered this summer?

Occasionally additional electives may be offered as new partnerships become available to the CSW community. You can check back often, but we don’t recommend delaying signing up for something you are interested in. If you have a question about the potential for a specific offering, reach out to moleary@csw.org.
