Migration Stories: Parent/Guardian Master Class with Oscar B. Castillo

Join us for a special parent/guardian workshop with Oscar B. Castillo, documentary photographer and Michael H. Feldman ’67 Social Justice Day keynote speaker.

This year’s theme, the evolution of immigration, provides the background as Oscar shares stories from his work as an embedded journalist, including his New York Times reporting on Venezuelan migrants traveling north on the freight train “La Bestia” and the challenges they faced along the way.

Through storytelling, reflection, and conversation, parents and guardians will have the chance to explore migration, resilience, and the changing landscape of immigration, while connecting with other parents.
