Nia '27 Scores 1,000th Career Point

This season, Nia '27 reached a rare milestone in The Cambridge School of Weston basketball history, scoring her 1,000th career point, a testament to her talent, dedication, and hard work.
While the Gryphons fell short of the league title, the team made a remarkable run to the NEPSAC tournament for the first time in over a decade. In the first round game against Wheeler on Wednesday, March 4, Nia turned in a season-high 30 points, demonstrating the competitive drive and skill that have defined her time on the team.

“It was a privilege to be part of that moment for Nia,” says Head Coach Madi Gomez. “Reaching 1,000 points doesn’t happen by accident—it’s the result of the work she’s put in and the growth she’s shown all season. The motor she plays with and the way she competes every day are what put her in a position to accomplish something this special. I couldn't be more proud of her or more excited.”
