Ada '26

Day Student
Hometown: Newton, MA
Next Stop: Bowdoin College
Moving from California to CSW, Ada quickly transformed from a nervous 9th grader, into a confident, driven, and compassionate scholar. Embracing CSW’s culture of exploration, she consistently pushed past her comfort zone, engaging in pursuits like Ultimate Frisbee and Dance, despite having little to no experience with either. During her junior year, she launched a Health Occupations Club to nurture her own interest in the medical sciences and to share resources with likeminded peers. After taking upper level chemistry and “Environmental Chemistry” her junior year she had an epiphany: while she was heavily interested in science and medicine, she didn’t want to be a doctor. She wanted to be a researcher. She balances a “deep love” for chemistry with a passion for creative writing, which she has developed in courses like “Writing Short Stories,” and “Advanced Writing Portfolio." She plans to major in Chemistry and Creative Writing at Bowdoin College.
