Opportunity & Access

When we expand access, we elevate our entire institution. Investing in Opportunity & Access ensures every student can arrive, belong, and fully engage in a transformative educational experience that prepares them to lead in a global society.

  • Diverse Perspectives

A world-class education requires a classroom that reflects the world’s complexity. By prioritizing access, we ensure that our students are challenged by a wide range of viewpoints, fostering the critical thinking, empathy, and cross-cultural fluency necessary to lead in an interconnected global society.
  • Financial Aid for the Full Experience

In addition to financial aid for tuition, room, and board, aid packages must consider experiential opportunities like travel and materials. No student should have to forgo an internship or artistic pursuit because of financial limitations.
  • Inclusive Culture

We aim to expand the resources that foster a community where students from diverse backgrounds are seen, respected, and valued.

  • CSW's campus offers the best of both worlds.

I love that CSW is close enough to Boston and Cambridge that we can easily access museums, theatre, shopping, professional sports and all the city has to offer, while also enjoying the peaceful solitude of Weston.

CSW — a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12 and PG — is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
