We need to keep pushing those boundaries — to resist complacency and insularity, become accessible to a wider range of students, and engage even more deeply on a local and global level.

    From the start of our CSW journeys, it's been clear to us that the faculty are passionate about what they do. They care deeply about their students and are always willing to meet them where they are. In unique and powerful ways, they create the conditions for each student to thrive — now and in whatever comes next. That passion and care is evident in their approach to the curriculum and lesson planning — what they teach and how they teach it.

CSW — a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12 and PG — is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
