CANCELED: Spring Sea Kayaking Trip (mod break)

In an effort to align with social distancing protocols and in accordance with outdoor industry standards, CSW is canceling the upcoming mod break wilderness trip. We're saddened not to be running this trip, as we look forward every year to this time paddling and camping in coastal Maine. The trip coordinators are looking into options for a smaller excursion over the break, and more information will be posted on the wilderness trip page as a plan develops.

Sea kayaking trip in coastal Maine

The trip will run from April 30, 2020 - May 4, 2020 (over mod break) and will involve four days and three nights of kayaking and camping on small islands in the coastal waters near Brunswick, Maine.

No previous kayaking or camping experience is required and all necessary gear can be provided. Students will get to know a new place, learn some new skills, connect with other CSW students, restore and refresh your mind, have a lot of fun, and/or earn an athletic credit.

Sign ups open on March 26. All sign ups will happen through the Wilderness Program page on the CSW website. An email reminder will be sent to all students on the day that sign ups open for the trip.

  • Mod break trips earn 1 athletic credit
  • Mod break trips have varying cost depending on the trip, more info with sign up forms.
  • No experience necessary for any trips
  • Most clothing and equipment can be provided for all trips
  • Learning, community, and fun are at the core of all of our trips!
