Pianist Sally Pinkas Visits Ear Training Class

Music Department Chair Michael Weinstein's "Ear Training 2" class was recently treated to a visit and live performance from accomplished pianist Sally Pinkas. During her visit, Sally previewed an upcoming program, which included Heitor Villa-Lobos's "A Prole do Bebê."
Sally Pinkas, a professor of music at Dartmouth College, has performed with the Boston Pops, the Aspen Philharmonia and New York's Jupiter Symphony, and at the festivals of Marlboro, Aspen, Rockport (USA), Pontlevoy (France), Havana (Cuba) and HCMC Conservatory (Vietnam). She holds performance degrees from Indiana University and the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Ph.D. in Composition from Brandeis University.
