L-J ShenFilerman's “SANCTUARY” Named Official Selection at All American High School Film Festival

Junior L-J ShenFilerman '23 is headed to New York City for the 2021 All American High School Film Festival. L-J’s short film, SANCTUARY, will be screened as part of the event at the AMC Empire Theater in New York City’s Times Square.

Each year, the festival receives thousands of film submissions by student filmmakers from around the world and only a select few, chosen by a panel of judges, are included in the festival. L-J’s film was selected for the Drama category. As an official selection, SANCTUARY is also eligible to be nominated for an award. Watch the official SANCTUARY trailer here
 
The festival kicks off on October 8 and ends October 11. Award nominees and winners will be announced at the Teen Indie Awards on Sunday, October 10, at The Kings Theater in Brooklyn, NY. Tickets to festival events are available online.
