Girls' Varsity Soccer Tops Gann

The Girls' Varsity Soccer team hosted Gann Academy on Monday, September 29.
After a sluggish first half, the Gryphons played an excellent second half and totally dominated the game. Fayona Thomas '17 opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a great individual effort. That was the only score in the first half. In the second half, Jess Jaena '15 scored in the 64th minute from a beautiful assist by Emma Kapp '16.

CSW continued to attack and it paid off when Caroline Keppler '18 scored from a shot outside the penalty area. Anna DeLong '15 had one of her better games in midfield and Sid Ihm '17 continues to excel in her role as play maker. The game ended with CSW on top by a score of 3-0.
