Ultimate A-team Bounces Back vs. BUA

The Ultimate Frisbee A-team was looking to return to the win column on Wednesday, May 13, when they faced off against Boston University Academy at home.

Uruk-Hai came out swinging in the game, scoring the first five points and never looking back. Freshman handler threat Max Bowen '18 had seven assists in the game, moving the disc across the field on offense and dumping and swinging with ease. Handler and cutter threat Aidan FitzGerald '17 was a huge presence all over the field, executing several up the line dump cuts and recording four goals in the game.

BUA played a zone defense throughout the match, as the wind was a factor on this day. However, CSW's reliable handlers were smart with the disc and rarely turned it over or forced the situation. Gus Parks '16 had three goals, using reliable popper cutting and some smart deep cuts as well. Newcomer Brent Jacoby '16 had two scores in the game as well, one of which was a perfectly executed "turn the page" cut. New team additions Ryan Joseph '17 and Henry Sieber '18 also played fantastic games, each recording one assist.

CSW ended the game by a score of 15-6 to improve to 9-2 on the season.
