Fall Theatre Production: As You Like It

Please note: This is a non-ticketed, general admission event. Plan to arrive early to secure optimal seating.

The show is expected to have a run time of 1 hour 35 minutes (inclusive of intermission).
As You Like It
When jealousy and sibling rivalry banish too many members of a community to the Forest of Arden, they explore living in nature and their truest selves. Mistaken identities abound as Rosalind dresses up as "Ganymede" and Celia as "Aliena" to escape the strictures of court for a life of camping in the woods. The visual world of As You Like It will be constructed primarily out of cardboard to tell the story of how life at court puts these characters in a box, and contrasts to the freedom and imagination of the forest (anything that a box can transform into).

The entire performance will end in a fashion show in which the characters celebrate their biggest, boldest selves and display their wearable art outfits. Plus, Audrey, Silvius, and Phoebe will clown it up and Jaques will perform the wisdom of one of the most famous speeches of all time: "All the world's a stage..."
