CSW's Fall Production is "The Insect Play" (a.k.a. The Insect Comedy, The World We Live In, Pictures from the Insects’ Life) by the brothers Karel and Josef Capek. Crickets, ants, dung beetles, butterflies and a human or two inhabit this satirical fable illuminating the fancies and foibles of humanity. Capek published “The Insect Play” in 1921 in an effort to comment on post World War I Czechoslovakia and to explore the varying themes of love, oppression, power, and the life cycle.
Please join us for performances at 7:30 p.m. during Family Visit Days - October 23, 24, and 25 in the Robin Wood Theatre.
