Lunchtime InTeachment: The History Department Explains Impeachment December 10, 12 - 12:50 p.m. Integrated Studies, Open to All
Our goal is to present departmental knowledge of impeachment and to address questions the audience may have on the meaning, process, and validity of impeachment. The session is divided into the following sections: Presentations on a) the process, b) historical examples, c) the definition of “high crimes and misdemeanors”, and d) contemporary issues related to the Article of Impeachment and its role in the empowerment of Congress. Following brief presentations on each of these categories, we will open the floor for a Q&A session. The history department looks forward to seeing you all there!
