A Solid Effort for Girls' Varsity Tennis!

On a  warm and sunny afternoon the CSW Girls' Varsity tennis team traveled across town to Regis College for their match against the Newton Country Day JV tennis squad. CSW GV Tennis gave a solid effort, but came up short against their opponent losing by a score of 1-4. Scores by match are outlined below:

        #1 Singles - Maya Barnes lost by a score of 2-8
        #2 Singles - Simenesh Semine won by a score of 8-2
        #3 Singles - Emma Rybeck lost by a score of 1-8
        #1 Doubles - Sarah Buta and Abby Lawrence lost by a score of 5-8
        #2 Doubles - Maya Feldberg-Bannatyne and Alexandra Kahn lost by a score of 4-8

Unfortunately we did not have enough time to play additional exhibition matches.

CSW Girls' Varsity tennis looks forward to their next match of the season when they host the Landmark School on Tuesday, 5/10/16, at the Brook Apartment tennis courts.
