Boy's JV Soccer Dominates over Brimmer

On Friday, October 19, 2018, CSW played at home against Brimmer and May. CSW dominated the game during the first half, the Gryphons showed an excellent control of the ball, as well as, an outstanding communication between the defense, midfield and forwards. Even though CSW dominated, at the end of the first half the opponent found a way to score once; however, CSW was already winning 3 – 1. Nevertheless, during the second half of the game, CSW’s BJVS demonstrated focus and resilience in attempting to get more control of the game. During the 15th minute of the second half, Ray Bauman ’20 scored from a free kick an incredible goal for CSW. There were various attempts to score by part of Lion He ‘21, Brandon Engerman ‘21, and Theo Dillon ‘20. Indeed, the effort put into the game by part of the defense was outstanding, Riaz Jamal ‘22, Reed McIntosh ‘19, James Chan ’22 (scored twice) and Parker Stern ’20 showed great discipline, organization, and resilience during the entire game. Final score: CSW 5 - Brimmer and May 2.
