Boys' Tennis Loses Last Match to BUA

Gil Aronson
The Boys' Tennis Team went on the road this afternoon to close the 2019 season with a hard fought 4-1 loss to 2nd place BU Academy at the Winchester Indoor Tennis Center. At #1 singles, Surya Rajamani '22 kept pace with his opponent losing 8-3. At #2 singles, Captain Issac Frankel '20 lost to his opponent 8-0. Captain Jack Zhang '20 at #3 singles played a great match winning 8-3.

The doubles pair of Bennet Kracz '20 and Orion Douglas '21 came up just short at 8-3. At #2 doubles Roger Hortsmann '22 and Leo Deng '21 played well but came up short 8-2.  It was a bitter sweet end to a very competitive season. The good news is that each starter will return next season, we're all looking forward to next season.  Thanks and enjoy the summer!
