Students Participate in Model UN Conference & Bring Home Award

This past weekend, four CSW students participated in the Rising Leaders Model United Nations conference at Northeastern University. It was organized by UNAGB and had over 150 students in attendance.

CSW represented Lithuania (Maddy MacColgan '23), Nigeria (Julia Willette '23), Brazil (Tetsuya Tanaka '24), and Spain (Ezequiel Revollo '25). Our students wrote position papers and debated topics that centered on sustainability and climate change. Ezequiel, who represented Spain won an award for Best Position Paper! It was an intense day of committee sessions (ECOSOC, UNDP, and WHO) and much lobbying in between. Congratulations to our four CSW representatives for prepping and attending this conference!

CSW—a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12—is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
