March 27/28: Our 25 Hour Journey to Taiwan

Chaperone Jeanette Origel
Hello there!

Our day began at 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 27 when we all met at the airport. Students were full of energy and excited for the journey ahead. The first leg of the trip was a 7 hour flight to San Francisco. After a short layover, we embarked on our 14 hour 15 minute flight. Students slept, watched movies, went on walks around the plane and counted down the minutes till arrival.

We landed in Taipei at 6:30 p.m. (6:30 a.m. Boston time) after over 25 hours of arriving at Logan airport. We headed to the hotel where we will spend the next 2 days, then went out for hot pot. Students really enjoyed that. A quick 7 Eleven stop ended our night.

We will begin our adventures tomorrow morning!
