Coming off a great start to the weekend with their victory over Boston Trinity, the CSW Boys' Varsity Soccer team kept their streak going at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall, winning the match by a score of 5-1. Jacob Arons ’15 kept up his barrage of scoring with 2 goals against CHCH, giving him 4 goals in 2 games. He even helped on the passing end, assisting Dexter Wadsworth ’15 for a score. Co-captain Caleb Weiss ’14 assisted both of Aarons’ goals, one of them from outside the box. Co-Captain Noah Rossen ’14 also added on two goals of his own, one assisted by Jonathan Downs ’16 and the other a PK. The offense was blazing all game long, consistently getting chances on the net despite some poor finishing. The Gryphons are very pleased with their victory, improving to 5-0 on the season. They now face their hardest test of the year as they pack up the buses and head out to East Greenwich, Rhode Island on Friday, Sept. 27 to take on Rocky Hill, a team that beat the Gryphons on their home field by a score of 4-2 last year.
