The Girls' Varsity Basketball team faced off against host Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall in the first round of the Charger Classic Basketball Tournament yesterday evening in Waltham, MA. CHCH started the game with a full court press and was the first to score. The defensive scheme initially confused the Gryphons. However, a quick timeout and some minor adjustments corrected CSW's offense and the Gryphons never looked back. CSW had three girls score eight points each; Chloe Knopp '14, Joanna Cabrera '15, and Emma Rochon '15. The entire team played great defense and rebounded very well. The final score was 45-14, with CSW coming out on top!

The CSW Girls' Varsity team now moves on to the Final Round of the tournament. The game is scheduled for Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
