CSW Cross Country Takes 3rd Place at MBIL Championship Meet

The CSW Cross Country squad traveled to Gann Academy last week, ready to compete in their final meet of the season.

The MBIL Championship meet featured several schools and over 100 runners. The Gryphons finished 3rd out of ten teams. Zachary Joachim '15 won the race to become the league champion! He finished with a winning time of 18:02.

The next runner to finish for the Gryphons was Eric Qian ’17. He finished with a time of 19:55 and came in 8th place. Siyanda Stillwell ’15 was the third runner to come in for the Gryphons. He finished with a time of 20:47, and came in 20th.

Ben Blaustein ’17 was the fourth runner to cross the line for CSW with a time of 21:01, and finished in 21st. Will Murray ‘16 was the last runner to score for CSW. His time when he crossed the finish line was 21:44, and he finished in 32nd place.

The scores between all the teams were close at this year’s league meet. Overall, the Gryphons team put together a great performance, not just at the league championship meet, but throughout the entire season. Bravo for a great season and a 3rd Place finish overall.
