Girls' Lax Falls to Montrose

The CSW Girls' Lacrosse team faced off against Montrose School on May 6.

It was a hot day off the field but a cold day on the field. The Gryphons pushed through the heat but were unable to pull off a win, falling to Montrose 11-2.

Defensively, the Gryphons were not able to execute their game plan. Katie Gorson '16 stepped in‎ to play goal keeper for the first time this season. Katie did a great job and was the voice of the game! Sara Pratt '18 scored both goals for the Gryphons. The Gryphons had only 11 shots on goal, but were still determined to hustle to the end, pushing for more shots. Raewyn Fairless '15 had another great game leading the team in ground ball control.

Overall this was a tough game where the Gryphons worked hard to the end.
