On Saturday, October 20, a group of students led by Hannah Winthrop '19 walked in the "Walk to Defeat ALS" for community service and friendship. Along with Hannah, fellow CSW students Amanda Gu '19, Abbey Givertzman '20, Brie Parse '19, and Ava Goodman '20 were all members of the team WillWin Against ALS, organized in honor of Hannah's father, who has ALS.

"I loved having my friends there to support me. It was a gorgeous day for the walk, and the entire team of 60 walkers raised almost $65,000 to help cure ALS," Hannah shared. "Thank you!"
