Day 1 - March 29: Daxi District, Suspended Bridge and Hot Spring!
Today we started off the day by traveling to a small city with museums of wood art and historical chairs. the city also had shops with little trinkets as well as a very beautiful temple! after lunch, we headed an hour away to a village in one of the main mountain ranges. we hiked and crossed the narrow 200 ft high/200 meter long bridge! we also got to soak our feet in a hot spring and meet a few animals!
We made a quick stop at a huge flower shop and then headed to dinner. we ended our day at a night market, a tourist hot spot for Taiwan!

Three Students to Present Original Designs at Junk Kouture Regional Final
Three students — Reese Lonetto ’27, Winter Lynn ’25, and Ella Sharma ’26 — have been selected to present their original fashion designs at the Junk Kouture regional finals in New York City on Monday, May 12.
