Ultimate B-team Finds Stride vs. Sharon High School B-team

Tuesday, April 14th's CSW Ultimate B-team vs. Sharon High School B-team game was a back and forth battle for the ages.

CSW once again established the tone by scoring the first point of the contest with a pass from Reese Moehlenkamp '16 to Alex Kluchman '17. Sharon's fast moving offense responded quickly, however, scoring five of the next six points.

Good flow up the field and a scoring pass from Evan Cuthbertson '17 to Eli Franzen '18 brought the score to CSW: 2, Sharon: 5 after many long-fought points. CSW then gained momentum and, buoyed by positive energy, took the first half with five consecutive points. Matt Bird '17, Eli Franzen, Josh Glass '15, Max Pratt '15, and Alex Dewey '15 scored the points with Assists from Reese Moehlenkamp, Jackson Kessler '17, Alex Dewey, and Nate Williams '16.

Improved cutting flow, the deep cut threat, and quicker movement of the disc up the field helped to wear down the Sharon defense.

In the second half, Sharon and CSW continued to trade points. First, Sharon responded with four quick points to bring the score to CSW: 8, Sharon: 9. In the final minutes, before the hard cap (end of the game), CSW responded with three points scored by Alex Dewey, Alex Kluchman, and Josh Glass on passes from Nate Williams to take the win.

Final score was CSW: 11, Sharon: 9. An excellent contest!
