Ultimate B-team Off to a 3-0 Start!

CSW's Ultimate Frisbee B-team faced off against Marianapolis School on Friday, April 17.

Marianapolis jumped out of the gate with a quick goal, but CSW responded with three goals on quick disc movement up the field. Goals were scored by Ben Klebe '16 and Dean Weeden '16 with assists from Alex Dewey '15 and Jackson Kessler '17. CSW and Marianapolis then traded goals until CSW scored an exciting deep cut score from Jackson Kessler to Evan Cuthbertson '17 to take the half at 7 to 4.

After half, Marianapolis took the first point before CSW scored four straight points. Of note was the layout score by Matt Bird '17 on a pass from Jackson Kessler. Excellent bid! A hard cap soon brought the game to an end with a score from Evan Cuthbertson to Coby Gray '16 for a final score of CSW's 12 to Marianapolis' 6.

The highlight of the game was an excellent balance of patience with the disc and fast movement when opportunities presented themselves.
