CSW Cross Country Finishes in 5th Place in Recent Meet

The CSW Cross Country team competed in their second race of the season last week.

The race was hosted by Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall. Unfortunately, the Gryphons had to overcome a lot of injuries this week. Despite all the injuries there was a great showing from all the runners from CSW, as the team finished fifth out of nine teams.

Ben Blaustein '17 finished first for the Gryphons, and won the race overall with a time of 19:58! The next runner to finish for CSW was Jose Melo '19 who crossed the finish line 11th overall with a time of 21:25. Satinder Parmar '17 finished third for the team and 26th overall. He finished with a time of 22:29. Will Murray '16 was the 32nd athlete to cross the finish line. He ran the race in 23:14 and placed fourth for CSW. The last runner to score points for the Gryphons was Matthew Ramirez '19. He crossed the finish line with a time of 24:05 and finished 39th overall. 

This week the Gryphons travel to the Waring School for their next race.
