WHAT I’M READING
- It is exciting to read that a record setting number of Asian actors received oscar nominations this year. It’s been a long time coming. All of these films are on my “to watch” list. I’m hoping I can find some time during Spring Break to catch up.
WHAT I’M THINKING/TALKING ABOUT
- I am thinking about how hard it is to write a book and how it’s even harder to get it published. How did my colleague Emma do it? Emma Fedor works full time at CSW as director of marketing and communications in our small but mighty and very busy “MarComm” office. I — we — are so proud of her. Her novel, At Sea, hits shelves on Tuesday, with a launch event open to the public on Monday night at Wellesley Books. Congratulations, Emma! WHAT I'M WATCHING/LISTENING TO
- I am listening to our students and chaperones share stories from their Mod Abroad to France. I am so proud of our French scholars and excited for them that they were able to engage in this potentially life changing experience. Be sure to also watch senior Isaiah’s Instagram Takeover Tuesday for an insider’s view of their experience.
Students in the Instrumental Ensemble put on a lovely performance of Anton Dvorak Serenade Op. 44 today at lunch. It was especially exciting to watch Lucas '25 conducting.
