Dance Chair Nailah Randall-Bellinger to Lead Dance Showcase at Boston Center for the Arts

Dance Department Chair Nailah Randall Bellinger, who is wrapping up her Boston Dancemakers residency at the Boston Center for the Arts, will be leading a showcase examining the life of performing artist Donny Edward Hathaway. The multimodal dance narrative, (just) 33, “utilizes the body of Donny Hathaway’s work and archival documentation… to celebrate the breadth and genius of this inspiring intergenerational artist.”

The performance will feature CSW alumni Malik Gomes Cruz ’19 and Marcel Santiago ’17.

Saturday, May 24 at 2: 00p.m.

About the Residency: Considered Boston’s most comprehensive dance-focused residency, the Boston Dancemakers Residency is designed to support new work from conception to performance. Two choreographers selected for this opportunity will receive incubation elements for research, experimentation, production and marketing support, business practices, artistic risk-taking, and growth within the dance industry in a customized manner for the artist’s practice.
