Art Teacher and Thompson Gallery Director Todd Bartel has been invited to exhibit and donate a piece of artwork to the Bennington Museum as part of their annual fundraiser known as “The Festival.”

This year’s Festival theme is inspired by a musical clock made by Nicholas Goddard in 1810. The select artists that were invited to participate in this fundraiser were asked to, “create or show a work that riffs on the clock in any way, conceptual or visual.”

“It’s a nice surprise, and a nice honor,” shares Todd, who chose to donate the piece “Family Tree,” a xerographic engraving collage.

Congratulations, Todd!
