2021 CSW Day of Giving Supports Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen

Closing out the success of CSW’s Day of Giving, last week members of the CSW Development Office delivered over 350 items to the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham, a program managed by the Middlesex Human Service Agency (MHSA.)
CSW’s donation matched the 367 gifts received from our Day of Giving.
Items of need, bottles of water, peanut butter, jelly, breakfast bars, and cleaning products of disinfecting wipes and laundry detergent, were delivered to their Moody Street location.

"The kind efforts of the students, faculty, and families are so greatly appreciated by our agency and our clients," said MHSA Director of Development, Nancy McGeoghegan.

Over recent years, CSW has partnered with Bristol Lodge, receiving donations from on-campus holiday food drives and Empty Bowls events.

"Our work remains challenging with the increase in unemployment claims, individuals experiencing homelessness, and food insecurity during a pandemic. Having the on-going support of our valued community partner, The Cambridge School of Weston, has allowed us to better service our most vulnerable community members residing in our Waltham shelters and clients receiving meals and food supplies from our Nutrition programs," said Nancy.

Thank you for coming together to support, honor, and celebrate CSW. It’s not too late to support CSW’s Annual Fund for the 2020-2021 school year.
