While teaching in Colombia, India, and Lebanon, Calin began a business selling upcycled clothing of her own design. When she returned to the United States with her collection of beautiful fabric that she amassed in her travels, she studied Fashion Design at Parsons, The New School, where she also received a certificate in Streetwear Essentials.
