The Patience Lauriat Society is an honorary association of individuals whose planned gifts have already been received or will someday accrue to The Cambridge School of Weston. Anyone who notifies CSW that the school is named as the beneficiary of a gift through their estate, or through a planned gift during their lifetime, is automatically enrolled as a member of the Society.

The Society is named after Patience Lauriat '46 who, after providing for members of her family, left the remainder of her estate to CSW to create an unrestricted endowment fund.

The Patience Lauriat Society gratefully acknowledges benefactors whose estate gifts to the school help ensure the future of CSW and demonstrate how close the institution was to their hearts.

Members of the Patience Lauriat Society receive certain benefits, which include:
  • Recognition in publications, including the Report on Philanthropy
  • Invitation to an annual event (for members who have made life-income gifts)

CSW—a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12—is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
